I am a post-doctoral researcher in Mathematics based in Waterloo Ontario, Canada, specializing in Graph Theory. My broader research interests include Operations Research, Combinatorial Optimization, and Mathematical Logic (specifically games on graphs, finite model theory, and descriptive complexity). From January to April 2024 I was teaching at the University of Toronto Mississauga. Before that I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at WANOPT (Waterloo Analytics and Optimization Lab) and at the department of Combinatorics and Optimization, University of Waterloo  with professors Bruce Richter  and Bertrand Guenin .

I obtained my PhD degree in September 2022 from the University of Waterloo under the supervision of Bruce Richter. In my PhD I studied edge-connectivity in infinite graphs, and previously my master's was on list-colouring, also at Waterloo (2017). Before that I wrote my first master's thesis in the subjects of Finite Model Theory and Descriptive Complexity at Cairo University (2014) under the supervision of Wafik Boulos Lotfallah. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics in 2011 from Cairo University.
